A REAL-LIFE BUSINESS CHALLENGE SET SPECIFICALLY FOR
COLLEGE AND 6TH FORM STUDENTS
What We Do
The National Skills Challenge in Association with The Digital Institute, London is a College/Sixth Form challenge open to students in Year’s 12 &13. The challenge focuses on the key employability skills needed of the world of work. This year's challenge has been set by Sports Interactive and the challenge is to come up with a new marketing campaign to extend the appeal of Football Manager to a wider audience.
The National Skills Challenge Grand Final will be taking place at Here East, Plexal Park, London, on Wednesday 1st April 2020.
Every college/sixth form that takes part in the challenge will be sending their winning team to compete against other colleges from across the country for the chance to be crowned the National Skills Challenge Champions 2020.
"The National Skills Challenge is a great opportunity for young people to take part in a real-life business challenge that helps harness their skills for the world of work. The staff on the day were exceptional and the young people really took to the challenge and found their competitive edge."
Ant Sutcliffe (Higher Horizons+)
How it works...
The National Skills Challenge is brought to you by the creators of the UK's leading enterprise and employability competition; The National Enterprise Challenge.
It is a costed event in the school/college and includes 4 fully trained facilitators who deliver the challenge brief and work with your students for the day (around your existing timetable). All learning resources (workbooks, pens, paper etc.) are included and the cost is inclusive of our travel; anywhere in the UK!
The cost to take part is £1650 + VAT for up to 120 students and includes your entry for your winning team to attend the National Final in April 2020.
Once you register your interest, we will work with you to find a suitable date to come into the college and deliver our workshop. Once the workshop is finished, we will provide a finals pack detailing what preparation is needed for the final. Your winning team will be competing against colleges from up and down the country and pitching their ideas to leading business professionals and also enjoying a great day at the very impressive Plexal Park, Here East, London.
